I have worked as a journalist for more than 20 years and have a background in both newspapers and magazines. My most recent expertise is in lifestyle journalism, especially interiors and I am a former editor of ELLE Decoration UK. Having held this and a number of other senior executive positions, I am highly experienced in all aspects of publishing – creating strong editorial within a budget, editing copy, managing a team of people, working with advertisers and marketing.
I am also a versatile feature writer, having written reportage stories as well as profiles and interviews for newspapers, both tabloid and broadsheet, glossy magazines and the web. I am adept at working to tight deadlines and can deliver well-written copy quickly and to deadline.
