I started my career in newspapers in Sydney. Arriving in the UK I began with freelance shifts on the Daily Mirror, finally reaching the position of editor of 'Mirror Woman', then a weekly 16-page supplement. Since that time I have written for newspapers including the Daily Mail, The Times and the Daily Telegraph.
For the past few years I have worked in glossy magazines. I was deputy editor of Company, then deputy editor of British ELLE where I was also celebrity fixer, negotiating with Hollywood and other publicists for cover shoots and interviews. My last full-time position was as editor of the interiors design magazine, ELLE Decoration UK. Currently I am Homes Editor for Grazia magazine, as well as working freelance for other publications.
